Hollinshead Water-Wise Garden

Hollinshead Water-wise Garden

Location:  1235 Jones Road, Bend, Oregon - in the Bend Park and Recreation District’s Hollinshead Park

Open to the public during Park hours

The Hollinshead Water-wise Garden is adjacent to the Hollinshead Community Garden in Hollinshead Park.  The design and construction of the garden was a joint effort between Oregon State University Extension Service, Central Oregon Master Gardener Association, Bend Park and Recreation District and the City of Bend. The purpose of the garden is to demonstrate to the public different native and waterwise landscape plants that thrive in Central Oregon, to show efficient irrigation options and waterwise gardening techniques. This is the place to visit if you’re interested in conserving more water in your landscape and using different plants.
